2010: the year of the cat. This according to the Indie Music Calendar – the Chinese one says it’s the Tiger’s, in case you were wondering.
As a matter of fact, the past couple of months have seen cats appearing on the cover of not one, not two but three of the most talked-about indie albums of the summer. Besides the highly anticipated return of British band Klaxons, on the other side of the Atlantic both Wavves and Best Coast went down the feline path:
