For the past 3 years we have worked hard to provide the best personalized music experience to our users.  We added more and more music to our database, increased the number of platforms on which you can enjoy AUPEO! Personal Radio, and are working with numerous partners to offer AUPEO! on as many of your favorite devices as possible.

Last summer we brought you our next generation of the service: a brand new user interface for the web and most of our apps. We obviously did something right - you made us one of the most successful music services in many markets. Only last week AUPEO! was named as one of the Top 5 music apps in the German App Store for 2011! Thank you! Now we have the next level ready for you, and again we hope to have met your expectations.

If you ask people how they listen to music, you would get as many answers as people you have asked. However – at the end there are two main ways of doing it: listening on your own (while reading a book, writing your blog, driving your car…) or listening together (with friends, at a party, etc.) When you listen on your own, you are independent; you take your iPod, your computer or your radio, and off you go. With AUPEO! you already have also the possibility to fully personalize this experience. Building your own music DNA provides users with the best listening experience.

Now AUPEO! introduces a new dimension: listening together with your friends – at the same time, together and globally. No matter if your friends are in San Francisco, Sydney, Taipei or Berlin. As long as you are online together you can now enjoy the same tracks - and you can chat about them. This makes music what it always was – a great social experience. And if you feel the need to meet new people, the best way is to find them through music you like in common.

What do you usually do if 4 people at a party don’t like a track? You skip the track. Have your party now on AUPEO! The majority rules: if enough people have voted to skip a song, we skip it. At the same time, if more people love the track they will overrule, and the music will continue to play.
